Mir hat ne Ami geantwortet der die Munies überholt. Das git es wohl so gar eine Stelle wo das mal vorgesehen war.

Hier mal seine Antwort:
During the 1960's when Muncie transmissions were being built only the COrvette boxes had drain plugs, then from 1970 and later all of the Muncie cases were drilled and tapped with 1/2 inch NPT (pipe threads) If you will notice on the passenger side of the Muncie at the bottom there is a "Boss" for a drain plug. When we get the Muncie's in here`4 for rebuild, all of them are drilled and tapped for this 1/2 inch pipe plug.
Who is to say how often these boxes should be drained. Certainly in my lifetime of rebuilding these boxes I have seen more than a few that would have benefited from an oil change..
It is not a difficult job to drill and tap it if you have done this sort of thing before
