Frontstabilisator

Hallo an alle,

ich brauche für meinen Olds Jahrgang 1957 einen Frontstabilisator. Um es bildlich zu beschreiben:

Eine gebogene Stange vom Achsschenkel links, beweglich an zwei Punkten an der Fronttraverse befestigt um an den rechten Achsschenkel zu enden.

Da ich den Fachausdrücken in Englischer Sprache nicht mächtig bin, frage ich euch

ADDCO performance front sway bar 1957-58 Oldsmobile

ist es das Teil das ich benötige?

weiss jemand, wo ich es innerhalb Europa bekommen könnte (Bild ist aus der E-Bucht USA)

oder passt evtl. eines aus einer anderen GM Produktion (Chevy ...)?

Hey Kalle...

Ja, die Sway-Bar ist das, was du suchst...
Was mir auf dem Bild fehlt, sind die 2 Winkel, mit denen du die End-Links verschraubst...
Wenn die Breite die Gleiche ist, könnte die vom Chevy auch passen.
Ist die Frage, wie deine Achse ist.

P.S.:  Gefahren-Hinweis:  Kläre wirklich genau die Frachtkosten !  Ich hatte da auch mal was, und neben den wirklich hohen Frachtkosten aus USA wollte UPS noch mal 80,- extra für die Auslieferung von Ãœberlängen in Deutschland...

Ich hab zwar das Shop Manual, aber technische Daten fehlen gänzlich.

Zum Stabilizer steht im Shop manual folgendes:

Removal and replacement (Fig. 4-4)
1.   Disconnect each side of stabilizer linkage by removing nut from top of link bolt; pull out bolt from bottom of linkage, and remove retainers, grommets, and spacer.
2.   Remove stabilizer bracket to frame bolts and remove stabilizer bar, rubber bushings, and brackets.
3.   To replace, reverse sequence of operations. The rubber bushings should be posizioned sqarely in the brackets. Torque stabilizer link nut 8 to 18 ft. lbs and bracket bolts 25 to 35 ft. lbs.

Important: Never lubricate stabilizer bar rubber bushings as they are dependent upon a bonding of the rubber to the bar for proper stabilizing action.
